How to upgrade an existing installation

If you need to deploy a new version of InfoLink on existing installation, you just need to redeploy the server.war in your Tomcat. Follow the following steps:

Step 1 Download a new version. Instead of downloading the whole package (infolink.zip), just download server.war file.
Step 1.1 If you run InfoLink together with Enterworks, stop Enterworks Services.
Step 2 Undeploy the current version. Go to <path to Tomcat>/webapps/ folder and delete the server.war file. Before deleting it you might want to save it to another location as a backup. **Wait until server folder disappers (it means that Tomcat actually undeploied the application).
Step 3 Deploy the new version by copying the server.war file downloaded at Step 1 to <path to Tomcat>/webapps/ folder.
Step 3.1 Restart Tomcat or, if you run InfoLink together with Enterworks, start Enterworks Services.
